$BTC It's still a challenging environment where you're seeing random spikes to the downside that are violent and sudden. Choppy af and I don't see that changing anytime soon personally.

Standard shenanigans are happening this weekend on #Bitcoin. I wouldn't put too much value on it; we're still on the lower boundaries of the range, which means that you're generally more interested in the long side than the short side. That's at least how I feel the market is currently.

Daily bull div confirmed on $CRV ✅ D3 demand zone holding ✅ Now we just need $BTC not to ruin it. If BTC can hold its ground around here and/or reverse to the upside, should get a nice move up on $CRV, targeting our newly formed (and untested) supply zone in red.

$BTC Now with its largest drawdown since the $58K to $87K rally. I don't have to tell you that corrections like these are normal for Bitcoin. Volatility in general has actually already been much lower than prior years. But for the high timeframe structure to have some proper bullish momentum again, you'd need to see a break back above $80K. Below this $73K-$76K zone is the big high timeframe support region to watch.

$BTC has rarely tracked equities this closely. Over the last 30 US sessions, the correlation with the S&P 500 reached 0.80. Since 2020 it has spent most of its time far below that. Despite the talk of bitcoin's relative strength, macro sets the direction for now.

Leverage grew through the $BTC selloff. Open interest climbed by about $1B during the US session drop, and by almost $500M more into today's US session. Funding cooled slightly but is now ramping up again. Longs look to be stepping back in.

Short-term holders are back underwater. Yesterday's drop pushed about 60% of the $BTC held by recent buyers below its cost basis. A day earlier, they were back in profit. For now, that lowers the risk of recent buyers cashing out into strength.

Bitcoin Falls Back After $80K Recovery as Spot Demand Remains Weak “The key issue is still spot demand. Futures positioning improved temporarily, but spot buying has not recovered enough to support a sustainable uptrend.” – Read More By XWIN Japan | @cryptoquant_official
