What launched

The new agent connects to public blockchains through a set of read and write tools. It can query balances, inspect smart contracts and prepare transactions, which are then passed to the user's wallet for signature.

The company is positioning the release as a developer preview, with access limited to partners building wallets, analytics dashboards and governance tooling.

Safety by design

Signing authority stays with the user. The agent can propose, simulate and explain a transaction, but the wallet remains the final gate — a design choice security researchers welcomed after a year of high-profile exploits.

“An agent that can explain a transaction before you sign it is a genuine security upgrade.”

Why it matters

Usability remains the biggest barrier to on-chain adoption. Agents that translate intent — "move half my stablecoins into the highest-yield audited vault" — into concrete, reviewable transactions could make complex DeFi workflows accessible to mainstream users.
