Securitize announced on November 2 that it has added 13 U.S. equities to its Solana‑based tokenized‑stock platform, raising the total number of listed securities to 25. The new batch includes high‑profile names such as ExxonMobil, Salesforce, GameStop, Disney, Arista Networks, Flex, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Lumentum, Merck, Seagate Technology, Texas Instruments and Uber. The expansion follows the company’s initial launch of 12 tokenized stocks on October 8, which featured Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Tesla, Amazon and SpaceX.

How the tokens work and investor rights
According to the Securitize announcement, each token is backed by a single share held in custody, making the token itself a security. Holders are entitled to the same economic benefits as the underlying share, including dividends where applicable, and voting rights when the underlying stock provides them. The tokens are not a substitute for direct registration on a company’s shareholder list, but Securitize notes that if a company later adopts its own tokenization scheme, token holders could convert their rights into registered shares. The firm emphasizes that it does not issue or lend the underlying shares, and the program does not create new shares.
The offering is available to eligible investors in the United States, the European Union and other jurisdictions that meet local securities rules and verification requirements. In the U.S., trades are executed through Securitize Markets, an SEC‑registered broker‑dealer and FINRA member, while European participants access the tokens via Securitize’s regional brokerage arrangements.
Technical infrastructure and settlement
All 25 tokenized equities trade on the Solana blockchain, with transaction settlement conducted in the USDC stablecoin. Jump Trading provides liquidity for the market, and trading currently extends beyond regular U.S. stock‑exchange hours. Securitize has indicated plans to enable round‑the‑clock trading, though a specific launch date has not been disclosed. The company also aims to integrate its products with a proposed New York Stock Exchange digital venue and the upcoming OKXICE tokenized‑securities platform, pending regulatory and operational approvals.
What to watch next
Investors and observers will be monitoring trading volumes for the newly added tokens to gauge market appetite. Regulatory clearance for the NYSE digital venue and the OKXICE platform will be critical for broader adoption. Additionally, Securitize’s ability to deliver continuous, 24/7 trading on Solana could set a benchmark for future tokenized‑stock offerings.
